Jon Rahm slightly extended his lead as world number 1 after his second place finish at the Mexico Openwhile the winner of the Aztec lands, the American Tony Finau approaches the top 10 and the Spanish Pablo Larrazábal climbs to 32 places.
Rahm (10.73 average points) is quite far from American Scottie Scheffler (10.29) and from Northern Ireland Rory McIlroy (8.54) in a top10 that did not change this week.
Finau, with his victory in Mexico, gained five places and remains in eleventh with 4.87 points.
Larrazábal, after winning in Korea, rose 32 positions and from position 101 to 69 and he is the second ranked Spaniard after Rahm with 1.54 points.
After Rahm and Larrazábal, Spanish golf has two more players in the top 100: Adri Arnaus (87) and Adrian Otaegui (96).
