Leading up the previous day, Alex maintained this short lead on his fourth lap. In it, he traced the same card as his rival: a 66, or -5, for a total of -10. Alex had six birdies and one bogey for the eagle, four birdies and one bogey for the Korean.
The 31-year-old golfer has only one title to his name so far, the Portland Classic won in 2018. Now, over three and a half years, he has achieved a second win, on the LPGA Tour also.
