Edin Dzeko opened the scoring for Inter Milan in minute 8 in the first leg of the semifinals of Champions League before his neighbor and eternal rival the Milan, in a match that ended 0-2. With that ‘target’, the Bosnian became part of an exclusive list: the oldest player to score a goal in Europe’s top competition. He is fifth in the overall ranking but second considering only the semifinal round, just surpassed by ryan giggs.

The legendary Italian striker set the record on November 25, 2014, in a group stage against CSKA Moscow (1-1). He beat himself, which he achieved shortly before against Manchester City (38 years and 3 days).

The English team’s winger scored that goal on September 14, 2011 at Benfica’s ground in a group stage clash that ended 1-1. He leads the ranking until scoring in the semifinals. He did so on April 26, 2011 at the age of 37 years and 148 days.
