Either a change of luck or this Giro will be truly dramatic

Date:

Follow the jinx on Italy is spinning. Again on today’s stage there were a few crashes, with the mishap affecting the top three in the general classification: Geraint Thomas, Primoz Roglic and Tao Geoghegan Hart. Unfortunately, Tao, the leader with Thomas, had to leave. I don’t remember a Giro like this and I’ve been through many. As we said from MD this Giro is jinxed and keeps eliminating runners. Hopefully the Giro’s luck will change because if this continues Rome v.Few runners will arrive on May 28.

If Tao is out of the race, the most beneficial is Primoz Roglic, who has fewer enemies. Geoghegan Hart could be a rival for Thomas, but also an ally for the Welshman to beat Roglic, which is why the Slovenian is leading after what happened today. Instead, Thomas and the Ineos suffer a severe setback.

As a contraction the one brought Movistar including the waterfall of Oscar Rodríguez and Fernando Gaviria. I am more concerned about the former and we hope that he does not suffer major injuries and that Gaviria can continue to race.

The stage was taken by the Germann Ackermann, which is fastest in a very close sprint and more tomorrow. Another stage with a profile similar to today’s, with a fight between those who want to escape and the sprinters and after that I trust that we will only talk about sports issues and not the fall. Let the jinx surrounding the Giro end!
