Jaime Busto won the game against Toni Bou at the closing of the TrialGP in Japan

Date:

Jaime Busto (Gas Gas) and Toni Bou (Repsol-Honda) tie for the lead in the World Championship after the second round of the third round of the TrialGP World Championship, held in Motegi (Japan).

Since the circuit was completely dry, unlike the first day, the riders had to adapt to completely different circumstances and grip. Bou’s first lap was poor, but in the second he chased down Busto, who ended up winning with the fastest time.

“It was a difficult day for us with many problems in the first lap. Jaime is at a high level now and if you fail badly you won’t win. In the next race, it’s time to be very focused because the championship is strict, not to make mistakes and get our best version” declared the world champion.

With this win, Busto and Bou dominated the general classification of the world championship with 111 pointswhile fellow Spaniards Adam Raga (TRRS) and Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol-Honda) shared third place with 84 points.

The next appointment of the TrialGP World Championship is on June 9 in San Marino.
