Ryan Crouser broke his own shot put world record

The American ryan crouserdouble Olympic champion, confirmed his status as the best shot putter of all time by establishing this Saturday at the meeting of The Angels a new world record for the specialty with a distance of 23.56 meters.

Crouser, the current world champion, surpassed the previous universal record held by himself since June 2021 by 19 centimeters with a throw of 23.37 meters.

A title that did not stop the 30-year-old North American from trying to break his new record in his last two throws, albeit without success, reaching 22.80 meters in his fifth attempt and 22.86 in his sixth and final attempt.
