Patagonia presents a new film documenting the life of Mount Cosbywho found passion and community through mountain biking.
As a high school student in a social housing neighborhood in Richmondat the east end of Virginia, Mount Cosby he had the impression that his future was limited, until mountain biking gave him a different path.
“Cycling is probably the hardest thing to get into”it said Mountain. “I may hate it when I start, but I love it when I finish.”
All these years, the bicycle has served as a bridge between two different worlds and as a vehicle to overcome the difficulties that arise. Since, Mountain he used his passion to inspire others in his community.
“I want to lead those tours. I want to introduce it to people who don’t have access»expressed Mountain. “Making these sites safe, especially for black people; that’s my goal”.
Mountain is a film about finding purpose through sport, and sharing it with others.
