A Spanish fan and another Italian were hospitalized this Wednesday in Budapest after a fight between Sevilla fans and the Romehours before the Europa League final that both teams will play in the Hungarian capital, local police reported.
According to authorities, “several people” participated in a fight on the avenue Egress, near the stadium Puskas Arena, where the game will be played from 19:00 GMT.
Three people were injured and two of them were hospitalized, police said, adding that officers intervened “within minutes.”
The budapest policeon the other hand, opened an investigation for an alleged crime of vandalism committed against a group and so far seven people of Polish nationality have been arrested.
According to the local newspaper, the authorities expected a clash between the ultras of Seville and of Slask Wrocław Polish, because they can search Budapest a rematch for a row with Sevilla fans in 2013.
