Not to be missed: an amazing fun doubles spot!

Date:

Doubles competitions are the ‘ugly duckling’ of tennis, but they can offer real gems because of their spectacular scoring, as was the case this Monday in the quarterfinal match of the men’s draw in Roland Garros.

Jean Julien Rojer-Marcelo Arévalo and Matthew Middelkoop-Andreas Mies They played an amazingly insane point: 34 shots in total with no wastage from the first to the last ball. One has just seen the point and wants to see it again to get a better taste of the amount of technical detail the protagonists left in 37 seconds of scandal.

It was a true wonder that could not only be considered the highlight of the tournament, but of the season as well.

});

Rojer and Arévalo scored points, but the final victory (7-6, 6-1) went to Middelkoop and Mies, who thus defeated the reigning Roland Garros champions and will face off in the semifinals against sander gille and Joran Vliegen.

The Catalan Marcel Granollers and his companion Horace Zeballos They are still alive in the tournament and this Tuesday they will meet the first seeds in the quarterfinals, wesley koolhoff and Neal Skupski.
