The Mexican-developed couple Julia Olmos and the canadian Gabriela Dabrowski achieved the Mutua Madrid Open women’s doubles title after beating the American in the final Desirae Krawczyk and the dutch Demi Schuurs (7-6 (1), 5-7 and 10-7)after two hours and five minutes.
It was the fourth trophy in the Mexican race after achievements in Rome with Canadian Sharon Fichman and Acapulco and Nottingham with Krawczyk, this time rivals on the track.
His partner Dabrowski, who is ninth in the world in the specialty, finally won the title in Madrid after reaching the final last year with Dutch Demi Schuurs, who fell again this year, in the final against Krawczyk’s company . This is the tenth trophy in the Canadian race.
