The Villarreal Sports City said goodbye this Sunday in the final episode of real leaguethe competition made up of La Liga teams and which form teams with people with intellectual disabilities after two days, where 44 teams have played more than 60 games, and where more than 2,000 people came to see the competition.
Holidays, where the result seems to be the least of it, because in the end there is a party atmosphere and camaraderie between the players and fans of each team.
In purely sporting matters, the Genuine League awards six trophies, three for best in competition and three for FairPlay standouts.
The three best teams in the group stage were RCD Mallorca, Espanyol and Club Atlético Osasuna, while Fundación Celta Integra, Nàstic de Tarragona and Athletic Club Fundazioa won the Fairplay.
The one in Vila-real is the fourth stage of this year, after competing in cities such as Tarragona, Barcelona, Bilbao, Vigo and Burgos.
The Genuine League started in 2017 and is currently experiencing its peak, as never before have there been so many teams participating, nor has the public and players been so well mobilized at each stage.
