Date:

The former world number 1, winner of 15 Grand Slams, including three Opens, Tiger Woods, will not play in the 151st edition of the British Open next month (July 20-23) at Royal Liverpool, in Hoylake (England). Tiger continues to recover from surgery following an injury to his ankle and right foot.

“We have been informed that Tiger will not play at Royal Liverpool. We wish him the best in his recovery,” the tournament organization (R&A) said.
