Khaldoon Al Mubarakpresident of Manchester City, insists the club’s innocence, after 115 accusations of financial irregularities by premier leagueand ensured that the entity was “very well managed.”
Al Mubarak, in an interview with the club’s media, admitted that he could not speak much about this issue because they were immersed in a legal process, but he trusted the legality of the club.
“The club, as a whole, is very well run. The value of the entire group is more than 6,000 million dollars, so we’ve made a lot of money and attracted some of the best investors in the world. Because? Because we have a commercial engine here that is one of the best in the world,” he said.
“Now we’re going through it legal process and what I usually do is comment afterwards. These procedures will take time, and when they are done, I promise we will talk. I will give you my most sincere opinion, because I want to say a lot, but now, unfortunately, I can’t do it”, added the main manager of the City.
Earlier this year, the Premier League accused City of committing more than a hundred financial irregularities since 2008, when the club was bought by a United Arab Emirates investment fund.
