Santini Cycling Wear and Unipublic showed the jerseys of the leader of lap 23 within Zarzuela Racecourse in Madrid. Three special kits designed by Santini to commemorate three of the most important stages of the race, which will take place from August 26 to September 17, have also been revealed.

The official jerseys of the 78th edition, completely designed and produced in the Santini facilities in Italy with its most technical fabrics, are: La Roja, the red jersey of the leader of the general classification sponsored of Carrefour; green, sponsored by Škoda, with a renewed color tone for the best in the points classification; the Plenitude white jersey for the best junior; and the white jersey with the blue dots of the State Lottery and Gambling, identifying the best climber.

THREE SPECIAL KITS TO CELEBRATE THE 23rd TOUR

In addition to the official jerseys, as every year created by Santini, for collectors, special kits for several stages of La Vuelta 23, intended for the most passionate fans of the Spanish round. These sets consist of a jersey, shorts and a technical undershirt, as well as a cotton T-shirt in each of the designs.

The first set is dedicated to the inaugural stage of La Vuelta 23 in Barcelona: the team time trial which will put cyclists to the test at the official start on August 26. The set, designed by santini, has black, blue and purple colors with patterns that recall the colorful personality of the Catalan capital. It also has a stopwatch, in reference to the inaugural time trial.

The climb the Altu de L’Angliru has become a legend in the recent history of La Vuelta and the entire world of cycling. A 12 kilometer climb, with gradients of more than 20%, considered one of the most difficult in the world. Dedicated to this climb and stage 17 of La Vuelta 23, this set by Santini shows different shades of green, reminiscent of the forests that characterize the Principality of Asturias. It also has elements reminiscent of climbing such as the Victoria Cross, emblem of the region.

The final finish line of La Vuelta 23 is in Madrid, a city honored by the complex designed by Santini for this final phase. The jersey presents two representative elements of the city and, more specifically, of the Puerta del Sol: the coat of arms of the city, with the bear and strawberry tree, and the Kilometer Zero plaque, the starting point of the radial roads from Spain.
