This is war! Inter and Milan fought over three players

Date:

Inter and Milan starred last season in a historic derby in the semifinals of the Champions League which resulted in victory for the ‘Nerazzurri’, who later lost the decisive match against Manchester City (1-0) in Istanbul.

After the course, now the eternal rivalry between the two clubs of Milan has moved to the offices, to the transfer market, as they fight to obtain the services of several players who are both interested.

The first name in this strange list is Romelu Lukaku. Inter are keen to keep the Belgian striker in their ranks after reviving football at the age of 30 with his return to the club on loan from Chelsea (14 goals in 37 games in all competitions).

Milan, with money for the transfer of Tonali

But Milan is about to close the transfer of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle for 70 million euros and he has the financial ability that Inter doesn’t have now, which is why he submitted an offer to Chelsea to include ‘Big Rom’. Besides, the Belgian said ‘no’ to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal twice, who put on the table a three-season contract for 30 million euros per year.

Davide Frattesi

Second case. Milan have also interfered with Inter’s attempt to sign Davide Frattesi, a 23-year-old midfielder, already a full Italy international, who is also interested in Juventus and Roma. Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Inter, almost got him to his men, but the situation became complicated.

The next few days will be decisive. Milan will meet Sassuolo, where Frattesi plays, once the Tonali transfer went in, while Inter waited for it to materialize the sale of Marcelo Brozovic to Al Nasr of Saudi Arabia for between 20 and 25 million euros to negotiate more arguments.

Marcus Thuram

The third player that Inter and Milan are fighting over is Marcus Thuram. In this case, the counteroffensive was carried out by the ‘Nerazzurri’ club. The 25-year-old French striker ended his contract with Borussia M’gladbach on June 30 and made it clear that he will not sign for Paris Saint-Germainwho likes him too.

Knowing he would not renew at Milan, he marked him in red on his list of favorite players with a letter of independence, but Inter came out on top. In fact, he came close to including her a year ago and reactivated contacts during the World Cup in Qatar.

However, of late Inter’s interest in Thuram has cooled and, in reaction to Milan’s attempts to poach Lukaku and Frattesi from them, they are back on the case. Leipzig also follows the track with him it’s been a long time and the last word hasn’t been said.
