The mountains of Tyrol again demanded a fatal outcome. In the municipal area of St. Anton am Arlberg, a German (22) had separated for a tour. After he had not picked up his mountain bike as agreed, a large search for the missing person was started.
It is unclear when exactly the drama came. What is certain is that the 22-year-old Saturday started a tour on the cake tip in St. Anton. “After he had not picked up his mountain bike, which he had parked at a Senner, a search was started,” the police said. The St. Anton and a helicopter from the Alpine Police were involved.
Autopsy ordered
On Tuesday around 9 a.m. the body of the man was observed on the wall base of the southwestern wall of the cake tip. “According to the previous investigations, the 22-year-old may have crashed a few meters over steep blocks and deadly injuries were incurred.”
An autopsy was ordered.
