Jorge Prado (GasGas) and French Romain Febvre (Kawasaki) shared the wins and second place in races 1 and 2 of the Lombok GP (Indonesia) held this Sunday.
With these results, the rider from Lugo established himself a little more at the head of the world championship standings with 562 points to 459 for the Frenchman.

In Race 1 Meadow He didn’t have a perfect start and Febvre, Fernández and Seewer overtook the poleman. Prado, however, soon recovered to 3rd position, and then won second place from Fernández due to an error and crash. The decision was made with three laps to go. After approaching Febvre he launched the perfect attack.
Coldenhoff’s Holeshot in Race 2, but the heads-up between Febvre and Prado continued, this time the Kawasaki rider more determined to win. On lap 4, the Frenchman started to build up some margin and behind him there was a brief duel between Fernández and Seewer, before some mistakes on the return of the Swiss and Coldenhoff. As the laps went by, the positions seemed frozen, but Prado and the two Yamahas came close again in the final three laps although it wasn’t enough.
Ruben Fernandez (Honda) finished fifth in both races and moved up to third overall with 415 points, beating Swiss Jeremy Seewer (Yamaha) by one.
The next World Cup appointment is on July 16 at the Loket circuit in the Czech Republic.
