Police officers are on the scene, CNN reported Sunday, citing a Baltimore police spokeswoman. A Fox Baltimore reporter, citing emergency services information, reported that a total of 29 people had been taken to hospitals.

The shots are said to have fallen in the Brooklyn Homes neighborhood in the south of the metropolis. According to US media, hundreds of people gathered there for an annual celebration called “Brooklyn Day”.
