The Allianz Arena in Munich and the Olympic Stadium in Berlin will be the venue for the opening match and the final, respectively, of Euro 2024, which will be played in Germany between June 14 and July 14.
The UEFA Executive Committee, meeting this Tuesday in Vienna, has approved the final calendar of the tournament, which for the first time includes sustainability as a standard in its regulations, according to the European body.
In this way, three headquarters areas were established: North/Northwest (Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig), West (Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenskirchen and Cologne) and South (Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart).

The matches per group will take place in only two zones, which will reduce travel distances for teams and fans between host cities, and allow participating team delegations to travel by train or buses from their base camps to the stadiums.
The opening match will be played by teams 1 and 2 from group A on Friday, June 14. This is the only game of the day. On the 15th in Cologne the matches between teams 3 and 4 of group A will be played, as well as in Berlin the matches between teams 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 of group B.
The stadiums that will host the most matches, six, are the Allianz Arena in Munich, the Berlin Olympic and the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.
