Talor Gooch, champion of the LIV Valderrama tournament

The American Talor Goochwith twelve strokes under par, was declared this Sunday at the Real Club Valderrama in Cádiz the winner of the eighth tournament of the LIV Golf season, held since Friday at the San Roque course in its first appearance in Spain.

A ‘birdie’ on the last hole broke Gooch’s tie with his compatriot Bryson DeChambeauwho ended up finishing second with eleven strokes under par.

The first classified not from the United States, located in fourth place, is the Colombian Sebastian Munozwho showed a card of six strokes under par after a performance in which he had been less than three days of the championship.

In the fifth position, with -4, one of the three classified is David Puigthe best Spaniard in the tournament and tied for the last card with the Americans Patrick Reed and Jason Kokrakwhile the man from Castellón Sergio Garcia (-2) finished in tenth place, tied with Chilean Joaquín Niemann.

In the team classification, the winner was Torque with sixteen shots under par, leading the Range Goats, second with -11; and the Crushers, third with -7.

El Torque rose from fourth place on the first day to third on Saturday and first today, relying on a main fortress in the Colombian Muñoz, who scored points every day, two to each of his three teammates : the Spanish Puig, Chilean Niemann and his compatriot Mito Pereira, who do not stand out much in the individual classification.
