The third edition of the IMG Academy’s Barcelona Junior Golf Open has arrived

Barcelona Golf Club, the only José Maria Olazábal ¨Signature Course” in Catalonia, will present its course in optimal conditions for an appointment that will become one of the references of the annual calendar.

The Tournament, valid for the Official Ranking of the Catalan Golf Federation 2023 and the Spanish Championship 2024, is also open to all players in Spain in the youngest, juvenile, infant and cadet categories (men and women).

On the other hand, the Tournament is endowed with special content and offers some very good prizes:

1. To be raffled off to all participants, ONE (1) scholarship for a one-week stay at the prestigious IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida, USA) high performance center that includes a golf program, meals and accommodation (not including travel or travel)

2. A total of TWO (2) spots will be played at the IMG Junior Golf Tour Finals in Florida USA with the following distribution: ONE (1) spot for the Boys Scratch Cadet winner and ONE (1) spot for the Girls Cadet Winner .

3. A total of TWO (2) places will be played in the Junior Tour Scotland Golf Final. ONE (1) place for Boys Scratch Cadet winner and ONE (1) place for Girls Scratch Cadet Winner at Club de Golf Santander (Madrid, October 2023). Places include the registration price.

4. Picnic lunch for each participant and other surprises.

For us and for the players of Catalonia it will once again be a reference tournament after the success of the previous edition. From here, thank the IMG Academy, the Catalan Golf Federation and Junior Tour Scotland and their whole team for making the tournament this very special for everyone”.

From the Catalan Golf Federation, they added: “Having a tournament like IMG’s Barcelona Junior Golf Open in Catalonia is a luxury for all young players. It is a unique opportunity for the future stars of Catalan golf to compete in a benchmark tournament and also do it on a difficult course prepared for high competition like CG Barcelona. We want to thank the commitment made by IMG Academy and CG Barcelona and we hope we can look forward to this event in Catalonia for many years to come”.

Men and women can participate in the following categories: junior, youth, children and cadets (under-16). Registration is open through the website www.golfbarcelona.com until Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
