As explained by Oscar Mayo, the executive general director of the League, “We want a partner to work together for two years.” This is the first non-Spanish sponsor, as has been the case in previous cases, whose economic value is “very satisfactory for the League. As long as it brings us business and helps us change, we will continue to have. ” In fact, Oscar Mayo acknowledged that they have received offers from cryptocurrency companies, but this “does not consist of giving the last name to the competition.” A deal that will bring him around 150 million euros for five seasons, around 30 million euros per year.
