It will be one of the longest online events in Olympic history, although the route is not without great mountainous difficulties.
The peloton will pass in front of emblematic places of the city and its surroundings, such as the Palace of Versailles. Men can go through ten levels, all of them low intensity, while women have to go up six.
Only 20 kilometers will have a percentage equal to or greater than 5% inequality and only 1.8 greater than 9%.
The urban circuit in the capital will have 18.4 kilometers, with three climbs to Montmartre, but one down until it is next to the Eiffel Tower again.
The gold medal time trial, both for men and women, will be decided on a 32.4-kilometer circuit that starts in front of the palace of the Invalides and its golden dome, and heads, this time, to the east of the city, to the forest of Vincennes, before returning to the place of departure.
It will be a completely flat route, dedicated to the great specialists of this type of event who will be able to develop all their power in search of the Olympic title.
