As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Juventus agreed to UEFA by which, in exchange for not receiving sanctions from the 2024-25 season, the Turin team will not be included in European competitions in 2023-24, that is, they will not play in the next Conference League.
The Juventus, sanctioned in Italy for the case of falsification of accounts, prefers not to play in Europe this 2023-24 academic year but instead does not risk not participating in the 2024-25 Champions League. The Turin club will promise not to go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS) who appealed for his expulsion to Conference League.
It should be noted that in Juventus 10 points were deducted from the 2022-23 Serie A table (where they finished seventh and therefore not in the Champions League and Europa League) for changing the real value of their footballers in the transfer markets to stabilize their economy balance and thus complies with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play.
