The Spanish Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), which, after finishing tenth last Sunday the F1 British Grand Prixproceeding to the fifth at Formula One World Cupdeclared this Tuesday, at Londonthat “it has been a difficult start to the season”, but that they have “improved” and that they need to continue doing so to “again fight for podiums and victories”.
“I feel a little mixed, because the beginning of the season was more difficult than the whole team expected,” said Sainz, 28, who, after taking the last points at stake on Sunday at Silverstone (England) -where he won last year- is still fifth, although now with 83 points, just one more than Englishman George Russell.

“Now we have to make sure we keep improving and we can fight for the podiums and win again,” said Sainz, who has one victory and fifteen podiums since he started racing in the premier class.
