CD Tenerife announced this Tuesday the renewal of French player Jérémy Mellot until June 30, 2027, thus extending the contract that tied him to the blue and white team for two more seasons, valid until 2025.
Arrived in 2021. The French right-back, 29 years oldamassing 85 official matches with the Tenerife team, and his outstanding performance has sparked the interest of other clubs, even from the highest Spanish category.
Mellot debuted as a scorer with a blue and white shirt against Girona FC at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium, in the 2021-2022 season, his debut as a Tenerife player, and signed a new goal in the 2022-2023 campaign in a visit to the Villarreal B.
The French defender arrived in Tenerife in the summer of 2021 after going through the historic EA Guingamp, for whom he completed more than fifty Ligue 2 matches in two seasons, as well as League Cup and French Cup experiences. EFE
