In 2017, an image of the Spanish F1 GP went around the world: a child began to cry in vain in the stands for the abandonment of his idol Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari invited him to the paddock to meet the Nordic and enter the red box, something he will never forget. Their crying turned into a big smile and memories forever. And now, 6 years later, a similar image was seen that once again raised the eyebrows of everyone because of the tenderness of a child who changed his restless crying for extreme happiness: it happened in Hungarian GP of F1 2023. The protagonist, a boy who loves F1, is dressed in the team of his love, Red Bull, which he started crying when he saw ‘Checo’ Pérez crash in the first minutes of the first free practice sessions held on Friday.

Red Bull reacted quickly to the crying child
The television production did not take long to focus on the little boy, who was crying, leaning on his father, without stopping, when he saw his Mexican idol land on the gravel and against the wall at the beginning of the action. Red Bull, seeing those pictures that broke everyone’s hearts, got to work. He sought out the boy and his father and they gave him the most incredible experience of his life.
Red Bull surprised the boy and his father by giving him a VIP access pass to the paddock to spend the rest of the day with the team. The young fan followed Friday’s training sessions in a unique way, inside the box of ‘Checo’ Pérez, and met the Guadalajara driver in person. A fan of the present and the future who will never forget what happened in Hungary.
