Sergio Agüero, Manchester City’s top scorer in history (with 260 goals), has blessed the signing of Erling Haaland and said he could score many goals with the English team. Kun added that “Hopefully he fits, the Premier is not easy.”
The retired Argentine striker spoke to the media after the inauguration of his statue around the Etihad Stadium, on the day that marked the tenth anniversary of his discount goal against Queens Park Rangers who gave the league to ‘citizens’ in 2012.
“He’s a great striker,” Aguero said when asked about Haaland, who were announced this week as City’s new signing. “I hope he adapts well to the team because it is not easy to play in the Premier League,” Kun continued.
“I wish him the best, because now I’m a Manchester City fan and I hope he scores a lot of goals,” the striker added.
Agüero, in addition to being the foreigner with the most Premier goals, has won the league five times, to add a total of 15 trophies to City.
