Jorge Prado reappeared with second place in the Sardinia GP

The Spanish Jorge Prado (GasGas)dropped the previous exam due to physical problems, reappeared in world of the queen category of motocross (MXGP) with second place in the Sardinian GP after the Dutch Calvin Vlaanderen (Yamaha).

The rider from Lugo earned two third places in this eighth round of the World Championship, which gave him second place on the podium after two races, which Vlaanderen prevailed, which ended in emotional tears after getting the his first success.

The Dutchman took advantage of the ‘failure’ made by the great dominator of the championship, Slovenian Tim Gajser (Honda), second in the opening race and twelfth in second after the collision. Despite this, he continues as a solid leader in the overall standings with 367 points.

He leads Frenchman Maxime Renaux (Yamaha) by 79 points and Swiss Jeremy Seewer (Yamaha) by 103, while Prado is fourth with 260 and will face off in the next race this weekend, the Spanish Grand Prix, in high spirits. Arroyomolinos (Madrid), which will take place over 15 days.

The Galician needs to figure out how he is physically after dislocating a shoulder in a training session in Italy and regain his senses to return to the fight and fight Gajser and the other contenders for the title.

He came back to show his former strength in the beginnings and although he didn’t hold back the lead, he was able to hold on to the third spots which finished him more satisfied.

The other Spanish participant, Rubén Fernández (Honda) was sixteenth in the first round and seventh in the second, where he finished eleventh in the Grand Prix and sixth overall with 213 points.

At the Women’s World Championship, young Daniela Guillén (KTM), just 16 years old, finished the Riola Sardo circuit in a brilliant third place behind Dutch Shana van der Vlist (KTM) and Nancy Van De Ven (Yamaha) after of signing with two third parties, this Sunday after returning from fifteenth place.
