Grace Brown rides the Tour Down Under after winning the final stage

the australian Grace Brown won the third and final stage of the Women’s Tour Down Under and claimed the final victoryin an attempt to return three years later after the pandemic was overcome.

On the 93.2 kilometer stretch between Adelaide and Campbelltown, attacks continued throughout the day, but it was on a climb a few kilometers from the end when the test was decided.

Australia’s Amanda Spratt attacked and took a small lead, then Brown joined in and both took a slight lead in the final stage. In a long sprint between the two runners, Brown didn’t give Spratt a chance and claimed the victory.

The peloton came within 13 seconds of the duo, with Brown taking the final victory. Spratt was second on the stage and overall, 10 seconds behind, while New Zealand’s Georgina Williams was third on the stage and overall, finishing 19 seconds behind the winner.
