Deck: “The market is still open”

Date:

Ruben Baraja is still waiting for a cherry on the market in the form of a band player that covers Valencia the desired departure of Samu Castillejo, but the arrival of Selim Amallah and Roman Yaremchuk changed the tone of his speech and he was more satisfied with the club’s work in the market than in recent weeks.

“The market is still open until tonight. We will be attentive to any possibility that may arise, is what the club sent me. I can’t make an assessment until it’s finished, there are positive things and others that cost us more to close”, he admitted.

“(The signing) would be a band that is where we lack someone specific to have competition, which is what we want to generate. Because that always raises the level of individual and collective performance,” said Baraja, who said he was “optimistic” by nature.

Regarding Roman Yaremchuk, he said that “he is a boy with a career that gives him the possibility to enter the profile, is of an intermediate age and has the illusion of doing things well in Spain. He is a player as we want him to have a goal, finish and mobility. We had several situations and the last choice was him. We hope that he is comfortable and that he is an important player and that he scores many goals, ” he pointed out.

He also spoke about Amallah to thank him for his predisposition and promote an important role. “Selim can play inside or outside, he can play 10. He has a good goal, energy and hunger. We expect a lot from him. He is very patient waiting for Valencia and he is here because he wants to because he has something else possibility. We think it will be immediate performance,” he said.
