This Friday at Graakjaer Arena in Holstebro, Denmark, a great fight took place which came to prove the good moment that women’s boxing is going through-
The undefeated Danish Dina Thorslund won the bantamweight title world boxing council by defeating the Mexican Yuliahn ‘Cobrita’ Luna by unanimous decision.
Thorslund started the match on the offensive looking to punish Luna; and though the Mexican tried to counter the attacks, most of his punches stayed in the air.
Dina showed that she is one of the best champions of the moment against Yuliahn, who, like all her fights, showed her great heart.
With this victory, Dina added the WBC belt to her collection of titles, as she previously held the WBO belt.
The judges’ scores were Mikael Hook 99-91, Giulio Piras 98-92 and Daniel Van de Wiele 97-93.
