Talavera started with a 1-0 home win against Villanovense in their first Segunda Federación match, which took place this Sunday at the Estadio Municipal de Fútbol del Prado. After the match, Talavera de la Reina was fifth with three points and Villanovense was sixteenth with no points after the match.
The first half of the match started well for Talavera de la Reina, who took the opportunity to open the scoring with a goal from Fontan in the 12th minute. With this 1-0 the first half of the match ended.
Neither team was lucky in front of goal in the second period and therefore the regulation time ended with the score 1-0.
