The prestigious magazine French Football released this Wednesday the list of 10 nominees for 2023 Cup Trophy. One of them will win the award for Best Youth (Under-21) of the year, succeeding Gaviwho won it in 2022. The prize will be awarded on October 30 in Paris during the Ballon d’Or Gala.
1
Jude Bellingham
(Dortmund/Real Madrid/England)
The Real Madrid midfielder, who signed this summer for more than 100 million euros, looks like the main favorite to win the award after failing to do so in 2021 or 2022 despite having options.

2
Gavi
(Barcelona,Spain)
After winning it in 2022, the midfielder for Barça and the Spanish team is back on the list of candidates. However, it seems that this will not happen again. This has never happened.

3
Jamal Musiala
(Bayern/Germany)
The Bayern midfielder was already in the pool to achieve it in 2022 but he did not succeed. His 2023 was very good, though perhaps not as good as 2022.

4
Eduardo Camavinga
(Real Madrid/France)
Little by little, the Real Madrid midfielder is gaining a place in the Whites’ starting team. However, he is not among the favorites to win the prize.

5
Peter
(Barcelona,Spain)
Having won in 2021, he is still of an age to win here although the pools do not indicate him as one of the strong favorites for this 2023 edition.

6
xavi simons
(PSV/Leipzig/Netherlands)
After leaving PSV, he has arrived in Leipzig and, at this moment, he is standing. It is said to provide a lot to talk about for years to come.

7
Alejandro Balde
(Barcelona,Spain)
His irruption in Barcelona was spectacular. He is already attached to Xavi’s ‘eleven’ and, according to rumors, he has options to win the award even if the favorite is Bellingham.

8
Antonio Silva
(Benfica/Portugal)
The last great centre-back to appear in Portugal. Last year, he starred in more than one Champions League exhibition.

9
Rasmus Hojlund
(Atalanta/Manchester U./Denmark)
Dubbed ‘the new Haaland’, Manchester United bet heavily on him after shining last season in an Atalanta shirt.

10
elye wahi
(Montpellier/Lens/France)
After showing his great passion for goal at Montpellier, Lens have bet heavily on him for this season. The least known to the general public on this list.
