The former German international Felix Magath has offered to replace Hansi Flick as coach german that is disputed have capacity to restore confidence in teams going through periods of insecurity, which he has shown several times in his coaching career.
“The Federation needs a coach who is in position redo a selection mired in uncertainty and I believe that I can restore the confidence of the teams that it lost so that they can return to good performances,” Magath told NDR 90.3 radio station.
“I have equipment with me from the basement of the Bundesliga to the middle of the table or even on the upper part. “I think that’s what the Federation needs,” he added.
Magath managed several teams and was twice German champion with Bavaria and sometimes with him Wolfsburgbut, before achieving those titles, he achieved fame as an expert in fighting relegation.
In 1997 Magath took over Nuremberg, which was in the relegation positions in the second Bundesliga, and it ended up in third place, which meant promotion to the first category. In 1999 he took Eintracht Frankfurt in relegation positions and achieved permanence.
