“They were two great games, we scored a lot of goals that mattered at the end of the group and counted. We will leave very happy,” he told Teledeporte.
“In these two games, I scored a lot and it’s something I need to improve at the end because I think I can help the team in that aspect of the game,” added the Real defender.
Le Normand, after making his debut with Spain in the last round of the Nations League, played four consecutive games as a pair of Aymeric Laporte in the middle of the back. “I don’t know if I’m a permanent fixture but I have the coach’s trust and I’m thanking him. I’m available for the match and the coach decides, I try to restore his trust on the field,” he said.
The Real Sociedad centre-back highlighted the importance of defensive concentration and the goalkeeper First Simon, to respond to some rival attacks. “At the minimum the rivals take advantage of chances. They are games that seem easy but you have to be focused every minute and Unai the same, one comes to him and he has to stop it like he had done.”
