Seventh world record by Mondo Duplantis!

Date:

Centimeter by centimeter Mondo Duplantis keep crushing the limits of the pole, as he did Sergei Bubka in his day. At 23 years old, Duplantis broke the pole vault world record again for the seventh time in the grand final of Eugene Diamond League with 6.23m. The Swede flirted with this record all season and achieved it Hayward Fielda track that suited him wonderfully and last year he went above the then record (6.21m) to win world gold.

A world record to close in the best way a tremendous season in which he achieved two records and his second world title in Budapest.
