There is already a schedule for Madrid-Osasuna, which has taken points in its last two visits

Date:

LaLiga has confirmed the times and dates of the matches corresponding to matchday 9, which will be held between Friday, October 6 (Athletic-Almería) and Sunday, October 8 (Granada-Barcelona).

Real Madrid will host Osasuna later that day at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday, October 7 at 4:15 pm in a match that will be broadcast by Movistar LaLiga.

Osasuna have been very difficult for Madrid in Chamartín in the last two campaigns. The rojillos got a draw from the Bernabéu in the 2021/22 season (0-0) fighting the white siege for 90 minutes.

Last year they also earned a point (1-1) in a match marked by a penalty missed by Karim Benzema with 10 minutes remaining. Vinicius put the whites ahead in the first half and Kike García managed to equalize the score at the start of the second half with a header against which Lunin was helpless.

In the 75th minute, David García made a penalty on Benzema that was not signaled in the first instance by the referee. However, after the review, Cuadra Fernández declared a maximum penalty and expulsion for the direct red card from the red center back. Benzema hits the crossbar with his shot.

The surprising fact is that Osasuna’s two previous visits to the Bernabéu took place in the month of October, just like this season.
