Red Bull secured its sixth constructor’s title

The team red bullthanks to the Dutch victory Max Verstappen within Japanese Grand Prix of Formula 1, was able to prove his sixth constructor’s title, the second in a rowin a season where they have managed to win 15 of the 16 races held to date.

Verstappen has managed to win 13 races this year, for 2 of Sergio Perez (Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan). It just is Carlos Sainz For Ferrari in Singapore he was able to break that dominance, keeping Verstappen in the hunt for his third consecutive title, as he only needed to finish sixth in the next sprint race.

For now, the Austrian team can now celebrate that for the second year in a row they are the best on the grid, thanks to 623 points which they achieved, more than double that of their nearest pursuer, Mercedes (307). Behind, Ferrari with 283 and Aston Martin with 221. A massive dominance.

This 2023 is the Red Bull’s sixth constructors’ championshipafter four achieved between 2010 and 2013 in which Vettel also won the drivers, and one achieved in 2022. A mark that keeps them as the sixth most successful team in said classification throughout history, one only those who achieved the group Lotus (1963, 1965, 1968, 1970, 1972, 1973 and 1978).

Ahead, the eight sa Mercedes (in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) and McLaren (in 1974, 1984, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1998); the nine of Williams (in 1980, 1981, 1986, 1987, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1997) and very far 16 of Ferrari (in 1961, 1964, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1982, 1983, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007 and 2008).
