The brand Titan World Seriesunder which the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco, the Škoda Titan Desert Almería and the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia were recognized as the best event of the year at the eventplus Awards gala.
At the ceremony, various accolades were awarded, including the gold medals awarded to these three mountain bike races, which are now some of the most important in the world. In 2022, three Titan World Series events were held in the same year for the first time.

The Titan World Series was born in 2006, with the celebration of the first Škoda Titan Desert Morocco. An adventure attended by about 150 runners, but grew year by year to its current situation. More than half a thousand cyclists gather every April to ride six stages in the Moroccan desert.
In 2020, and due to the pandemic, the province of Almería hosted the first one Škoda Titan Desert Almería. The desert of Tabernas, Cabo de Gata and the peak of Velefique have replaced their Moroccan brother to create a race with its own and close personality. Next October 7th it will celebrate its fourth edition.
