The Spanish sports management will have to work overtime this summer because of the great work that awaits in the coming months until the market closes on September 1st.
Among the contract graduates (Diego, Oier, Dídac, Mérida and Melendo), those who completed the migration (Yangel, Morlanes, Vilhena and Loren) and those with multiple numbers to exit (David Lopez, Miguelon and Dimata), the diaspora is expected to be significant. But in this chapter of possible exits, two names shine, two possible sales, that is teach the protagonist of summer soap operas: Raúl de Tomás and Adrià Pedrosa.
Left-back is one of the most important pending tasks of the new sports management led by Domingo Catoira. And the future of the international parakeet, whose contract will expire in 2023, is unknown. Until a few weeks ago the talks stalled and the proposals moved by the club they did not satisfy Pedrosa. They painted rough and it was seen more outside than inside the club on the side, which was considered one of the most possible summer sales to materialize and get a good pinch. The distances between the parties seem insurmountable.
But after the ‘revolution’ in offices, there was a new one CEO, Mao Ye, and new sports director, Domingo Catoira, the stage can be reversed. Pedrosa is waiting to find out what the new sports ‘capo’ thinks and if he really is willing to throw away the rest to tie the continuity of the international, one of the quarry’s most important assets and for sure, to the ‘girlfriends’ this summer. So, as As moves forward, Pedrosa’s environment will now know how Catoira breatheseven knowing who will be the new coach, to continue negotiations and who knows, bet on the contract extension.
Barça will not be a rival
In recent weeks, it has been reported that Barcelona may bid Pedrosa to strengthen the left-back for the next course. But the Barça club are not thinking of making an offer for the international parakeet, with other names on the table today.
