These are the teams with a shot at the ticket for the Euro Cup

The qualifying phase for Euro 2024 faces its final stage in contention on the seventh and eighth day from Thursday to next Tuesday. There are several teams in a position to get a passport to Germany in the first round of matches, with the tournament to be played between June 14 and July 14 next year.

It should be considered 24 teams will participate in the final stage. In addition to the hostess Germany, classified ex officio, they will get the pass the first two in each of the 10 groups and the last three places will come from a playoff between six teams based on their ranking in the last Nations League (2022-2023).

Spain, with 9 points from 4 games, will qualify for the European Championship if they beat Scotland and Norway in Oslo on Sunday.

France, with 15 points from a possible 15, will get a ticket to Germany if it beats the Netherlands on Friday, led by Ronald Koeman, in Amsterdam or if it draws and Greece, which is third with 9 points , Ireland are unbeaten in Dublin . The Netherlands are second with 9 points from 4 games.

Group F

Austria or Belgium

In this group, Belgium and Austria lead with 13 points from 5 games. Both will face each other on Friday in Vienna and the winner of the match will mathematically qualify for the final tournament in Germany.

Portugal

Portugal, led by Catalan Roberto Martínez, holds a perfect record with 18 points in 6 games played. Friday’s victory over Slovakia, second with 13 points, at the Do Dragao stadium in Porto ensured their presence in the final stage.
In the event of a draw, Portugal will also qualify if Luxembourg, who are third with 10 points, fail in their visit to Iceland. Portugal already won in September on Slovakian soil (0-1).
