They had a 1:23 advantage until Torresandino, where the Mexican tried to leave in solidarity, 42 seconds ahead of the peloton, although less than 32 kilometers from the finish line, he was chased, finishing the breakaway. .

From that moment on, FDJ runners began to pull the peloton and stretch it, losing a few runners and forming a group of about 40 to face the entrance of Aranda de Duero as the Trek led the way.

With 1 kilometer left, the pace changed as runners began to position themselves to face the sprint.

Lotte Kopecky, from behind, surprised many of her companions and got the first stage of success in this career showing his good form.
