The layout makes the 58 RallyRACC an event with the highest sporting demands which has an impact on all the events where it scores, such as the Spanish Super Championship, which is highly contested. The event also scored for the Catalunya Championship and Volant RACC–Trofeu Mavisa, as well as for the most important single-brand championships in the country: Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica, Clio Trophy Spain Tierra and Beca RTS Júnior. The event will be returned to Salou , as the epicenter general, and to the outer area of ​​PortAventura World park, as the location of the car park.

The route consists of a total of 686.68 km of route, of which 123.39 correspond to 9 timed sections, 5 of which are different. Among these sections, the 23.28 km of ‘La Pobla de Massaluca–Vilalba dels Arcs’ and the 18.62 km of ‘Horta–Bot’ stand out for their difficulty, both unique to the personality of the test.

Day one, Friday, October 20

The test starts on Friday, a day where most of the itinerary will revolve around the Alt Camp region and will include another unique feature of the Rally, the ‘Santes Creus’ section (12.49 km), which will be held twice in a row on Friday afternoon.

Day two, Saturday, October 21

The area of ​​activity for the second day centered on Terra Alta, with Bot neutralization. This includes two passes on the three remaining sections (23.28 km, 18.62 km and 6.49 km, respectively) and one on the Salou urban special.

Great interest in sports

The 58 RallyRACC Catalunya–COSTA DAURADA is the 7th of nine scoring events for the Spanish Super Rally Championship (S-CER) and the demands of the route will conflict with some points that could be decisive in the competition for the title. The championship arrives in Salou with the Asturian leaders José Antonio ‘Cohete’ Suárez–Alberto Iglesias (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), with an advantage of 31 points over their main rivals for the title, the Galicians Iván Ares–José Antonio Pintor (Hyundai i20 N Rally2). Jan Solans–Rodrigo Sanjuán (Hyundai i20 N Rally2) is in third position, 58 points behind the leaders, and Diego Ruiloba–Ángel Luis Vela (Citroën C3 Rally2) is fourth.

The presence of the current Spanish Champion, Pepe López–Borja Rozada (Hyundai i20 N Rally2), and the reappearance of Nil Solans–Axel Coronado (Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo) stand out, clear candidates for the success of the rally . Completing the notable entry are Óscar Palomo–Rodolfo del Barrio (Hyundai i20 N Rally2) and Javier Pardo–Adrián Pérez (Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo).

As for the Catalan Championship, where the Rally is the 6th scoring event, the options to win it depend on the performances in Salou of the two first classified: Alejandro Mauro–Diego Sanjuán (Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo) and Xavier Vidales–Jordi Hereu ( Škoda Fabia R5), teams that fought for the Catalan title were reserved only for rallies held on gravel.

Other championships also come to the event with lots of sporting fun and everything to be decided. Competition filled Salou again with sports and motorcycles
