The midfielder of Villarreal Francis Coquelin has confirmed, through social networks, his imminent return to his team’s training sessions and to the playing fields after nearly nine months out due to a ligament injury in his right knee.
Medical discharge imminent
Coquelin, 32, was injured on January 12 when he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear and is now facing the final stages of his recovery. The Frenchman has added some training sessions, where he works in a unique way and part of the sessions with his teammates, so it seems that he is close to receiving a medical discharge.
“Almost 250 days later, stepping on the field with my teammates, eager to help the team to give you joy, groguets. Thanks for all the support received. More than ever, Endavant”, was published Coquelin.
