Novak Djokovic will return to doubles action with Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic for the first time. After competing three times in doubles at Bercy (2008, 2016, 2021), Novak will once again play accompanied by a star-studded competition.
This is the fourth time Djokovic has appeared on the doubles scene during the season. The latter, in the Davis Cup, he did with Nikola Cacic and fell to Czech tennis players Adam Pavlasek and Tomás Macchac. He also participated in Cincinnati with Cacic, losing against Jamie Murray and Michael Venus. Finally, at the Adelaide tournament in January, in Australia, he participated with the Canadian Vasek Pospisil.
He is not the only star who will participate in the tournament. They will too Karen Khachanov with Andrey Rublev, Felix Auger-Aliassime with Sebastian Korda or the couple formed by Wawrinka and Jannik Sinner.
The Paris ATP will begin in doubles on October 30, with Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski, defending their title after winning last year’s championship and seem favorites to go the distance. Couples also have ballots. Austin Krajicek and Dodig, winners of Roland Garros in June.
