The Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) presented this Thursday in Ciudad de la Raqueta, in Madrid, the pickleballthe new sport integrated within its structure which combines elements of tennis, paddle tennis, badminton and table tennis.
At the presentation ceremony, award-winning sports players such as Ernesto Cárdenas, Martín Suárez, Sabrina Mendes and Gemma García, They marked their presence on the track and raised the spirits in the multipurpose room with a spirited demonstration.
They were accompanied by professional extensionists such as Pato Clavet, Vivi Ruano and Álex Corretjawho did not give up their competitiveness at any time.
Clavet, former ATP number 18, revealed that it is a relatively simple sport, and claimed that ““To know how to play it you have to understand it.”: “The goal of this is to have fun. Furthermore, Roberto Perezpresident of the Spanish Pickeball Association, expressed his great happiness in welcoming the current representatives of this sport: “Today I came here to support this event with stars who have reached the top in Europe, and to show what this sport is. “We are very happy that we have agreed to become a federation.”
“Now, with this merger agreement with the Spanish Tennis Federation, we will grow even more, we will have Pickle World in schools, institutes, in sports centers everywhere and we will provide a new sport for the city, a sport with a very high inclusive value,” insisted Pérez.
