The French Sébastian Grosjean, until now captain of the French Davis Cup team, and the Spanish Sergi Bruguera, who took care of the German Alexander Zverev, will coach the young French promise Arthur Fils.
The pair of former tennis players have trained with Richard Gasquet in the past.
Grosjean, who has been in charge of the French Davis Cup team for four years, assured that Fils is “an exceptional player with enormous potential” and is “convinced that the partnership will be fruitful.”
At 19 years old, Fils, who until now has Laurent Raymond as coach, wants to consolidate the step he made this season in his career, where he went from 320th in the world to the current 10th -38 and to which he added his first ATP tournament in Lyon in May.
The French Tennis Federation (FFT), for its part, assured that it will announce Grosjean’s replacement at the next Bercy Masters 1,000.
