The Movement against Intolerance collective filed a complaint with the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sports for the insults at the El Sadar stadium against Granada’s Israeli player Shon Weissman, that he did not travel to Pamplona to face Osasuna for security reasons.
Before starting the match, this group points out in a statement, the Indar Gorri group “loudly shouted ‘Weissman die’ and ‘Palestina aurara’, with the display of many Palestinian flags in one of the backs of the El Sadar stadium, where insults were uttered against the player.”
Shon Weissman “was left on the call of the Andalusian team for safety reasons, since he does not have any physical problems, after the recommendation received by the club from the competent bodies, due to the messages from this ultra group”, indicates the movement related in Indar Gorri.
The group demands an investigation of the facts and requires, if appropriate, the intervention of the Hate Crimes Prosecutor’s Office.
