A defensive mistake by Espanyol B was exploited by Chuli in the first half and it was enough for Lleida to add three more points and remain unbeaten at the Camp d’Esports, with five games, five wins. Europe could not overcome the tie with bottom team La Nucía despite dominating for many minutes. The first half in which the visitors were better, but goalless, ended without goals. After the break the Alicante team attacked first, but the dominance of the blue and white allowed them to equalize in the 70th minute through Adriá Gené.
There were no goals or good scoring chances in the first half in which the Gracians had plenty of possession against an opponent whose position in the standings held them in check. Unsuccessful domain for pro-European players.
